About the Role:
As a Bank Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You will play an important role in ensuring meals are enjoyable, well-presented, and prepared to a high standard of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking balanced, nutritious meals
- Catering for special dietary requirements and allergies
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing food preparation and stock appropriately
- Working closely with the care team to meet residents’ needs
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a cooking or kitchen role (care or catering environment preferred)
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- A reliable, flexible, and team-focused approach
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
- A passion for providing high-quality meals
